Transversal teaching

The University organises cross-disciplinary teaching activities annually, allowing students to acquire skills that go beyond the specialised knowledge of their specific doctoral programme.

The cross-disciplinary teaching activities are organised in the following thematic areas:

  • Linguistic further training
  • Computer enhancement
  • Research management and knowledge of national and international research systems
  • Valorisation of research results and intellectual property
  • Ethics
  • Communication techniques
  • Professional development
  • Safety

As part of the cross-disciplinary teaching activities, it is mandatory to acquire at least 1 credit in the area of the Third Mission.

Doctoral students may attend cross-disciplinary courses organised by other universities/research institutions/companies. In such cases, the Academic Board will assess the suitability of the courses and determine the number of credits to be awarded.

The courses' schedule is still being finalized and may change. Below you can find a provisional programme.
