Teaching and research activities of PhD programmes can take place entirely in Italy or abroad, given the increasingly wide perspective of internationalization.

• The PhD student has the opportunity to obtain either a double diploma in case of Joint supervision of Phd thesis or the Doctor Europaeus label
• PhD students must follow a specific procedure in case of study periods abroad. When required, they must produce some documentation for insurance, career or scholarship increase purposes
• PhD students can apply for Erasmus+ Calls
