The programme is not divided into sub-sections, in order to encourage the mutual exchange and influence between the different disciplines. 

In addition to its central academic committee, the PhD programme relies on the following advisory bodies: a PhD Council which includes additional teaching staff who may also supervise theses, and an Advisory Board, which includes foreign experts and stakeholders and is intended to ensure that the programme meets current and future national and international challenges. The programme can also rely on a Quality Assurance Group, composed of teaching staff and PhD students, which supports the Coordinator in monitoring, managing and re-organizing the programme.
