This PhD course is a higher-education inter-university project across the universities of Trieste and Udine. The course is divided into two curriculums: civil and environmental engineering, and architecture. Both curriculums offer a multidisciplinary programme on themes and methodologies that are at the centre of the recent concept of resilient and sustainable design. Lessons, seminars and project workshops allow for practical learning and interaction within all the topics covered and also help students develop professional and research skills that will prepare them for the radical transformations taking place in contemporary cities and territories.
